SSSGP 3rd: Semifinal B [SS-14]

With one lady waiting in the big finale, now is the turn of Chiharu Nakai (grey) and Aika Ando (blue/white) to gain the other spot available. The friendly handshake prior to the match turns into several chops to the chest after Chiharu pushes Aika against the turnbuckles. Aika escapes and delivers a Suplex before closing a Figure 4 Headscissors. A Test of Strength gives the match a new reboot, but Aika gains the upper hand again and connects an Abdominal Stretch before seeing it reversed and at the wrong end of that same hold.

The battle of Abdominal Stretches ends with both wrestlers on the mat as Aika surprises Chiharu with a rare lock that punishes Chiharu's leg. A Figure 4 Leglock has Chiharu screaming her lungs, but she eventually reverses. Chiharu dishes a Boston Crab and moves into a Single Crab, but a few minutes later the same situation happens the other way around, with Aika using a Boston Crab and a Single Crab with an extra handful of hair.

Aika continues to work on Chiharu's back with an Argentinian Backbreaker, a modified Mexican Ceiling, and a Bow and Arrow over her knees, but there is no submission. Without much luck, Aika moves towards a pinfall finish, including a Frog Splash from the top rope. Chiharu attacks with a series of Suplexes, and now both wrestlers are battered. A pinfall spells doom for one as the other advances to the final.

The extra match counts with Meisa Kurokawa (pink) and Aya Sakuraba (navy blue), both defeated in the first round. The cautious beginning soon turns into a brutal clash as Aya locks a Crossface and a Chinlock. Meisa replies with elbow kicks and a Suplex before trapping her opponent in a Boston Crab. A failed Suplex finds Meisa at the wrong end of a Figure 4 Leglock as Aya shows an unusual joy in torturing her opponent with this hold.

Aya seizes control and proceeds with another Boston Crab. Aya flattens Meisa with a jump over the ropes from out of the ring and locks a Chinlock. Frustration grows in Aya as she does not get a submission, and several pin attempts fall short, so she goes back to submissions with an STF or a standing Octopus Hold.

Meisa looks overpowered, and Aya unrelenting attacks. An equally classic and effective hold elicits a tap out.
