SSS Wаr Chronicles Vol.4 [SWA-04]

The 4th volume is about something as old as the world: the new generations challenging the current stars to force generational change. Yuri Nioka (red) is one of those wrestlers well-established in the company SSS, while Anri Kawai (blue) is taking her first steps into this world. Brave or foolhardy, you name it, the newbie challenges and the veteran accepts.

The initial Test of Strength does not go well for Anri as Yuri clearly overpowers her. The veteran is willing to teach a valuable lesson to the newbie, so she takes Anri down and locks a perfectly executed Figure 4 Leglock. Fighting for her pride, Anri resists without submitting and avoids a humiliating loss by reversing the hold and putting some pressure on the trapped leg of her opponent. Anri demonstrates her youth and skill by executing a Rings of Saturn hold and then continues to soften the veteran with a Sleeper.

A Japanese Abdominal Stretch has Yuri in danger and the veteran seeks shelter outside the ring once the youngster breaks the hold. Anki decides to attack while Yuri returns inside the ring using the ropes as leverage, but this also proves a mistake, giving Yuri the upper hand again. After applying a Cutter, Yuri alternates Sleeper and kicks alike and goes for an Argentinian Backbreaker. A Powerbomb and a pin attempt end with a Triangle Choke that almost ends the match.

There is a bit of chaos in the late stages of the match, until one girl connects a Facebuster, then delivers a Splash and gets the 3 count. However, the winner keeps attacking after the bell and locks an STF to send a message to her opponent and the rest of the roster.

With a similar pretension to the first fight, Hitomi Tsukishiro (red) makes her debut against a well-known Sakura Kiryu (zebra print). Sakura targets Hitomi's legs from the very beginning, first with a Legbar and later with a Figure 4 Leglock. Hitomi struggles, but manages to reverse the hold and launch her attack.

A Crippler Crossface has Sakura screaming but still alive, so Hitomi moves into a Rings of Saturn hold. From there, Hitomi shows her ability by transitioning into a modified Octopus hold that has the veteran in serious trouble. The newbie wacks Sakura with different kicks until the veteran takes her down and locks an equally painful and visually interesting Anklelock.

Sakura is back in control and delivers a couple of throws before locking a Sleeper + Waistscissors combo. More throws and suplexes are applied with a Boston Crab in between before the end arrives. A modified Octopus is too much to take for one beauty and despite her attempt to resist, she has no choice but to submit.

But is it Hitomi reapplying the hold, or is the veteran paying the newbie in kind?
