SSSGP 3rd: Final [SS-15]
Nerves are raw as Chiharu Nakai (grey) and Yui Nanase (red) hold the championship battle following two intense matches. Ladies don't save an iota of their energy from the beginning, with Chiharu delivering some leg kicks before receiving a Fisherman's Suplex. Yui works on Chiharu's head with Headscissors, although it does not last long before Chiharu escapes and goes for a quick pin.
Yui penalises the attempt with a Clothesline and then locks a Figure 4 Leglock. The reversal gives Chiharu a chance to strike, but again a leg kick becomes a Fisherman's Suplex against her. An Argentinian Backbreaker damages Chiharu's back, and Yui slams her later with a Death Valley Driver. More back work follows with a Babyswing and a Boston Crab. Yui feels very comfortable and alternates Suplexes and back-damaging holds on Chiharu, who counters with her own back-focused holds plus some leg work, such as Figure 4 Leglock or Anklelocks.
Passed the 30-minute mark, one beauty snares a rare Palo Special on her opponent, who starts to cry but does not submit. The trapped wrestler falls on her knees, but that does not prevent her foe from bending her until she has to submit or see how her shoulders would go out of their sockets. The winner celebrates, posing over her defeated body, and takes advantage of the situation to further humiliate her.
The special match included in this video has the likes of Aika Ando (blue) and Nana Kunimi (red/white). Aika is still moving apart from the ropes to start the match when Nana strikes with a Missile Dropkick that sends her straight away to square one. Nana wears down Aika and delivers a Figure 4 Headscissors, but Aika reverses and goes with a Chinlock.
The beauty in blue didn't like the first move from Nana and she lets her know that by applying a Suplex and a Cross Armbar. Nana reaches the ropes with her foot after a sloppy crawling, but that's a momentary stop in Aika's relentless attack. An Abdominal Stretch gets reversed, and Nana pays back with the same hold before mounting her own Palo Special. Nana shows Aika how enjoyable is to be on the wrong end of a Cross Armbar, but eventually gets a Powerbomb as a 'thank you' reward.
Nana copies Aika's strategy and goes for some Suplexes and Powerbombs to soften her, and then proceeds with a Figure 4 Leglock. The hold is reversed and the focus of both wrestlers is now the back of the other, seasoned with more throws and kicks. A Frog Splash almost seals the deal with a pinfall, and a few moments later, it's a Mutalock that looks like it could achieve the submission victory, but both do not succeed by a narrow margin.
The end is controversial, as it looks like one girl taps out while subjected to a tight Sleeper, but the ring bell does not sound. The self-assured winner angrily shouts, asking why the ring bell didn't sound if her opponent gave up; at this very moment, her opponent delivers a sneak attack and gets away with the official victory. Likely, it won't be their last match...
