B-1 Title Match Vol.1 [B-1 TI-01]

Can you imagine a situation where you host a tournament, but you forget to finish it when there is only the final fight left? This is precisely what happened to Battle company while organising the B-1 Tournament (check the tags B-1 TM-1 -> B-1 TM-7 in the store to follow it). To make things even worse, the wrestlers that should be in the final are no longer part of the company.

However, Battle managed to arrange 2 interesting wrestlers for this title shot. On one side of the ring, Makino Eri (blue), one of the top wrestlers in Battle company. On the other side of the ring, Risa Goto (black), who left the SSS company to move to Battle and made a great impression in her match against Maya Maino. After a shared interview with the belt presiding over the table, the match is ready to go.

Makino decides to mark her territory right from the start and connects with a Clothesline in the first seconds of the match and punishes Risa alternating a Single Crab and a Boston Crab. Risa makes her way crawling to the ropes, but this is a brief, temporary respite as Makino delivers a Fisherman Suplex as soon as Risa stands. Makino connects a Backdrop Suplex and goes for the pin, but the count stops at 2.

Makino's dominance is abruptly halted as Risa grabs one of her legs and takes her down to lock a Figure 4 Leglock. Risa applies a Powerbomb and tries the pin, but falls short, so she immediately uses a Japanese Octopus hold that puts Mikano on the verge of defeat. Nonetheless, Makino will sell the defeat at a high price and she is not done yet.

The match enters into a back-and-forth momentum, with girls exchanging holds and throws. There are a couple of near-ending moments, as a couple of times one of the girls struggles to get up before the technical KO count. A classic move puts an end to a superb match, and the winner wastes no time to grab the belt and put it around her waist while the loser lies on the mat crying.

BONUS MATCH: Sugisaki Asami (salmon pink) vs Kawamura Misa (white/red). This match is presented before the title shot. Almost an entirely one-sided match that ended with one beauty screaming her submission in a deadly Japanese Abdominal Stretch.
