B-1 Heavyweight Tournament: 3rd Place Match & Final [B-1 HT-02]

The 3rd Place match between Miyamura Kamome (black & blue) and Natsuki Ran (red & white) serves as a starter. A balanced fight ended with a deadly submission hold.

A small, separate interview presents the ladies fighting for the belt. A sportmanlike handshake kicks off this best 2-of-3 falls battle, Kanezaki Ai (blue & white) taking control of the situation with a Headlock on Aoyama Nami (red). Kanezaki starts strong with a Figure 4 Leglock that has Aoyama moaning in pain and fighting herself to avoid a swift defeat. Aoyama eventually reverses and punishes Kanezaki with an Abdominal Stretch and her own Figure 4 Leglock. Aoyama locks several holds in a row and goes for the pin when Kanezaki is exhausted, but the count only reaches two. When she decides to soften her opponent with a Figure 4 Headscissors, Kanezaki passes out, and Aoyama sets the score 1-0.

The 2nd fall starts similarly to how the 1st ended, with Aoyama dominating and delivering a rare Facebuster Powerslam. A Chinlock follows, with Kanezaki unable to escape. A low kick out of the rules allows Kanezaki to gain control. After a couple of Powerbombs, Kanezaki scores a point using precisely the same move Aoyama used on her in the first fall.

The decisive third fall is dominated by one lady from start to finish, with a few high-impact moves and a couple of submission holds. The loser is forced to verbally submit and see how the winner gloats in front of her with the belt already in her hands. Not only that, the winner suddenly attacks the referee and punishes the loser with more submission holds until her opponent bursts into tears.
